Boston College struggled in ACC play this season, so Hanlan has decided to forgo the final year of his eligibility. Boston College finished just 4-14 in conference play a year ago.
Last season, despite the struggles from the Eagles, Hanlan averaged 19.5 points, 4.2 boards and 4.2 assists.
While Olivier Hanlan has decided to make the jump to the pros, he is expected to land somewhere in the second round of the 2015 NBA Draft. It is highly unlikely that he will be able to improve that draft stock in a loaded class before this summer’s draft rolls around.
In the meantime, Olivier Hanlan will work to improve his skillset so he will be able to contribute to a roster in the NBA as soon as he has the opportunity.
