Soso Jamabo, one of the biggest signees in the UCLA Bruins 2015 class, has been arrested on multiple charges after fleeing police Sunday.
According to reports, the five-star running back — who was rated as the No. 1 player in the state of Texas and the No. 4 running back in the nation — was arrested following his senior prom.
The Dallas Morning News passed along the report.
He was booked at Kaufman County Jail around 1:30 a.m. and remained behind bars through Sunday afternoon.
Soso Jamabo was charged with evading arrest with a vehicle, minor consumption of alcohol, minor in possession of alcohol, speeding, driving without possessing a driver’s license and disregarding a stop sign.
Jamabo’s mugshot can be seen below, via the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office:
“We are obviously concerned about these reports and are currently gathering more information,” UCLA Associate Athletic Director Josh Rupprecht said in a statement. “As this is a continuing process, we will withhold further comment until the appropriate time.”
Jamabo chose UCLA over Notre Dame, Texas and Texas A&M.
