Oh, the difference a day makes.
On Saturday, while on an unofficial visit to the campus in College Station, Oliver received an offer from Coach Sumlin and staff, and within hours committed to the Aggies.
The Aggies now have 5 Verbal commitments, those coming from OT Gregory Little (arguably the top player in the country), CB Travon Fuller, TE Zarrian Holcombe, and K Braden Mann.
Interestingly, all of them are from Texas, which is not too surprising considering the large amount of talent in the state.
While currently Oliver is an under-the-radar three star from Fairfield HS in Fairfield, Texas, One cannot watch his film and realistically think that he is not going to receive more offers throughout the spring and summer.
Currently he is listed as an ATH, and that is largely in part due to his eye popping athleticism and field vision. Look for him in college, however, to play Corner and come in day one and return punts and kicks for whatever University he decides to go to.
Look for his recruitment to grow significantly in interest the more exposure he begins to get as the Spring Evaluation Period continues.
