RB Keith Ford to Visit College Station Today

Former Oklahoma Sooners running back Keith Ford is headed to College Station with his family and will meet with Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin. Taylor Hamm of 247 Sports’ Gigem247 reported the story.

The rumor of Ford heading to the Aggies began yesterday, when Hamm reported that Ford did not want to leave his home state of Texas and had been asked by Sumlin to meet in person. Now, it appears that meeting is happening and Ford could very well be headed to a team that needs a running back.

Ford only rushed for 526 yards and six touchdowns in two seasons in Norman before being suspended from the team for academic reasons this spring, and is now in a position to potentially help turn around a Texas A&M team that will need a running back in a year following the graduation of Tra Carson.

Nothing is official yet, as all we know is that Ford is headed to College Station, but Campus Sports will update this story as more details become available.
