Will Stefon Diggs Perform In 2014?

When Stefon Diggs was recruited by various universities across the nation, the adjectives associated with the 6 foot tall wide receiver were explosive and outstanding.  After two years at the University of Maryland, you can add the term damaged to that list.

The star wide out was recently named to the Walter Camp Award watch list despite missing the final six games of last season due to a broken fibula.  The Our Lady of Good Counsel product is expected to make a full return to his prior form, but questions remain regarding his effectiveness in the BIG 10 Conference.  Will the injured star return to glory?

Our Prediction: Yes.  Diggs is recognized as one of the hardest working players on the Terrapins roster and should be primed for a breakout 2014 season.  It may take time for the explosiveness to return, but opponents in the Big Ten should game plan for his big play capabilities. This is a guy who wreaks havoc in open space, and between punt returns and screen passes the Terps find a way to get him the ball in the open field plenty.
