The NBA Draft is really an exciting time if you’re a superstar basketball player that rocked the college scene. Enter Jahlil Okafor. He was one of the most dominant forces on the court for the Duke Blue Devils as they made their way to the national championship in March and April. He knew that his ultimate goal was to get to the NBA and that college was just a vault to get him into the big leagues.
What he didn’t know that during his short time in college is that he would be meeting people he would remember for the rest of his life.
Okafor, who is predicted by many mock drafts to slip to Philadelphia with the third pick, said that he would love to play with his “brother for life” Quinn Cook in the NBA. The senior guard’s landing spot in the NBA Draft is not as clear as Okafor’s.

Right now, Cook is ranked as the fifty-fifth prospect by Draft Express, but they do not have him going in their mock draft. I’m sure whatever team drafts Okafor will listen to what he has to say about possibly drafting Cook. You have to keep your top pick happy, right?
