There’s a new form of rivalry brewing between the Texas Longhorns and the Texas A&M Aggies, but this has less to do with what happens on the playing field and more to do with spectators game-time beverages.
Texas A&M chancellor John Sharp took a jab at UT during an interview on Thursday in which he was asked if A&M would be serving beer and wine at its games next season, like Texas plans to.
The response:

For starters, a simple “yes” or “no” would have worked perfectly fine in this scenario.
Secondly: What does this even mean? Is there an actual point at which an athletic department requires alcohol and all it’s numb-inducing glory? The verbage in this insult is so elegant, he might as well be swatting Texas across the face with a little white glove.
Of course, now that Sharp’s jab has gone viral there’s really only one this to do — sit back with a bag of popcorn and wait to hear what UT says back!
