Typically known for a distinctly surly, no-nonsense persona, Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh revealed a softer side this past week in a very considerate letter of rejection.
It’s not often you find someone proud to announce they’ve been turned down for a job; however, aspiring Michigan recruiter and proud Steeler fan Thom Dartt was more than happy to share the hand-written letter on Twitter yesterday.
After reading the note it’s hard to blame him.
While the message may not have been tailored specifically to Mr. Dartt, its still nice to see the Harbaugh regime taking the time to spread the love.
P.S. No word yet on the mysterious shoes mentioned in the first paragraph.
