Kimbo Slice knocks out Ken Shamrock at Bellator 138

Years after their first fight was supposed to happen, Bellator MMA was finally able to get Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson and Ken Shamrock to enter a cage together.

The two men went head-to-head at Bellator 138 in St. Louis, Missouri on Friday night.

Even before Shamrock and Slice stepped into the cage, we knew we were in for a treat thanks to a bizarre entrance from “The World’s Most Dangerous Man” which included an appearance by Animal from the Legion of Doom.

Then, the fight began.

Almost immediately, Shamrock was able to drag Slice to the mat where he was looking to expose his opponent’s lack of a ground game. Shamrock seemed to have sunk in a fight-ending rear-naked choke, but Slice was able to tough it out and eventually find his way back to his feet.

Once the fight was standing, Slice uncorked a right hand from hell that dropped Shamrock right to the mat and forced refereen John McCarthy to call an end to the bout.

Sure, it wasn’t the most technical fight, but it was fun and that is all that anyone could have asked for. We still think it’s time for both of these men to call it a career, though.
