University of Utah cornerback Dominique Hatfield has been dismissed from the team following “further concerns” about his behavior. Matthew Piper of The Salt Lake Tribune reported the development. Hatfield is accused with robbing a man at knifepoint and making off with $180. He and the man met on the premise that Hatfield would sell him an XBox console, via a Craigslist ad.
Hatfield also took to Twitter to announce that he would not be with the team next year and hoped to be with a different program soon.

Hatfield has two seasons of eligibility remaining, but will have to sit out a season as he figures out his next move, per NCAA rules. In his time with the Utes, he had 45 tackles and an interception as well as five catches for 93 yards, during his brief period as a receiver.
Utah opens the 2015 season at home against Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines on September 3.
