Florida’s Vernon Hargreaves III knows exactly who he’s looking forward to covering in the upcoming season.
Florida's Vernon Hargreaves didn't take long to respond when asked who he's looking forward to covering this year: Laquon Treadwell.

Hargreaves, who made to 2015 Jim Thorpe Award watch list earlier on Monday, was named an all-American in 2015 by Sporting News, ESPN.com, and CBSSports.com. Laquon Treadwell, a fellow member of the class of 2013, was an All-SEC second team selection in 2015.
Hargreaves was the top-ranked corner in the 2013 class and was ranked third overall according to ESPN. Treadwell was ranked 19th overall but was the highest-rated wideout in the class.
Both players have largely lived up to the hype in their first two seasons and both will likely go pro following the upcoming campaign. Luckily for fans, they’ll face each other for the first time on October 3 in Gainesville.
Hargreaves doesn’t have great size for a cornerback, standing in at 5-11. However, he’s widely regarded as one of, if not the, best cornerbacks in college football.
Treadwell has prototypical size for a deep-threat wideout, standing in at 6-2, 210 pounds. That height advantage could be something that Treadwell can try to work in his favor, although Hargreaves’s leaping ability is notorious.
The two of them going at it on the outside will certainly be a big storyline leading up to the October 3 showdown, and fans should be rightfully excited about it.
Last season, when Hargreaves got the chance to cover an elite receiver in the form of Alabama’s Amari Cooper, he didn’t play up to his potential.
Treadwell will look to follow in the footsteps of Cooper. Hargreaves, on the other hand, will look to bring Treadwell down to size.
