The quarterback competition in Columbus is starting to heat up. With the recent news of Braxton Miller position change, that only leaves J.T. Barrett and Cardale Jones as possible options to take snaps under center come this fall.
Any comment on the quarterback situation is big news and during Big Ten media days on Thursday Meyer made a statement about the leaderahip of both his stud signal callers.
Urban Meyer just said JT Barrett's leadership is "off the charts right now." As for Cardale Jones? "It's getting better."

Now, this technically doesn’t mean a thing and Meyer could just be sending Jones a message about what he needs to improve on, but it still was interesting that he said it.
There recently has been whispers of some current Buckeye players thinking that Barrett is a more complete player and would perform better than Jones if given the chance.
Others have said Meyer has to go with Jones because of his NFL stature and the fact he came in to lead the Buckeyes to a National Championship last year.
Who will it be come this fall? Only Meyer has the answer to that.
As I have said previously, “Urban legend” has had a plan in place since January on how he would handle all this. Unfortunately we will just have to wait and see how it all plays out.
