Ole Miss Rebels redshirt sophomore defensive tackle Herbert Moore has torn his ACL and will miss the entire season, but he is already looking towards 2016. In posts on his personal Twitter page, as well as his Instagram, Moore vowed that he would make a “major comeback.”

A former three-star recruit out of Memphis East High School, Moore appeared in six games last season and had three tackles. At 6-foot-2, 320 pounds, his size on Ole Miss’ defensive line will be missed as the school looks to build off of last season, when the Rebelsย enjoyed their best season under coach Hugh Freeze and went 9-4 (5-3 SEC). Here’s hoping he can recover quickly and get back on the field to continue taking Ole Miss forward.
Ole Miss opens the season at home against UT-Martin on September 5.
