The details for the trial of suspended Florida State Seminoles running back Dalvin Cook have been released, and three of his teammates could potentially be witnesses.
Per a series of tweets from Brendan Sonnone of the Orlando Sentinel, the trial is expected to begin and end on Monday and players Deondre Francois, Travis Rudolph and Da’Vante Phillips are expected to testify.
Cook is on trial for misdemeanor battery, the same crime that got freshman quarterback De’Andre Johnson suspended and then dismissed from the program once video footage of him punching a woman in the face at a local Tallahassee bar became public.

Sounds like the plan is to have trial done on Monday, but obviously that cannot be guaranteed.

Back in June, Cook allegedly punched a woman in the face outside of a Tallahassee bar before retreating with his group of friends.
The tape of the 911 call was released and though not as damning as video footage, it does not bode well for Cook, who led FSU with 1,008 rush yards last season.
During his suspension, he has not practiced or trained with the team and will not be allowed to do so until his legal situation is resolved, assuming he is ever let back on the team depending on how his trial turns out.

Florida State opens the season at home against Texas State on September 5.
