The Miami Hurricanes have never really been known for having great attendance at their home games in recent years. Saturday’s game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers was more of the same as most of the stadium’s top level was empty for the the big game.
According to College Spun, one Florida State coach decided to mess with the Hurricanes about their poor attendance. Tight ends coach Tim Brewster responded to a picture taken inside the stadium prior to the game.

In Miami’s defense, the team does use the Miami Dolphins’ stadium as a home field. It should be rather difficult for them to fill it. However, the fans have never really been that supportive of the Hurricanes and it shows even more prominently in such a large stadium.
Oh well, at least the Hurricanes beat Nebraska 36-33 in overtime. The Hurricanes and Seminoles square off against each other on October 9.
