Auburn Tigers freshman quarterback Sean White wasn’t the best in his first career start last weekend, but will still get the call under center for the team’s game this week against San Jose State. Coach Gus Malzahn confirmed the report to Jason Caldwell of Scout.com.
Malzahn "Sean White is our quarterback just like he was last week."

White completed 20 of 28 passes for 188 yards and an interception while being sacked four times last weekend in a 17-6 loss to Mississippi State. San Jose State is not as strong as any SEC team despite holding the same record as Auburn, 2-2, so White should have a better game this time around as the Tigers look to get back in the win column.
If not, however, Malzahn could be forced to turn back to the turnover-prone Jeremy Johnson, at which point there could really be no answers for Auburn in terms of righting the ship.
Kickoff against SJSU is slated for 4 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
