A loss to the Tide last night in the national championship gam doesn’t mean a thing to critics and astute college football minds. Just about everyone is placing the Clemson Tigers as their preseason No. 1.
ESPN agrees:
Clemson still No. 1 in the Way-Too-Early Top 25 https://t.co/sp6YVydH2X

There is a reason why Dabo Swinney’s team is the very, very early pick at No. 1. They return about every major facet of this year’s near title team. A devastating loss in a shoot out affair with the Crimson Tide last night, can be looked at as a positive. It battle tested a talented team and seasoned them. They now have something to prove.
It would only make sense, that they’d be primed to seek revenge on every team they face in 2016.
