The 2016 college football season is still seven months away, but everyone is so excited that the buzz is already building. Because of that, there has been plenty of discusstion about which program will be sitting atop the polls as the top team in the country.
It will be hard for anyone to top the reigning national champion Alabama Crimson Tide in the preseason rankings, but there are a handful of teams that could prove to be legitimate contenders as the season goes on.
