After a disappointing day for the University of Miami football program, the Hurricanes received positive news when St. Thomas Aquinas (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) teammates Jordan Scarlett (2015 running back) and Sam Bruce (2016 wide receiver) verbally committed to Al Golden and the Canes.
Not only are Scarlett and Bruce dynamic players at their positions, they complete a void Al Golden has been trying to accomplish since taking over at the U.
Reeling in the South Florida talent.
Of course we are months away from signing day and a year and change from when Bruce can sign but Hurricanes’ fans should be smiling today.
Scarlett (5’11, 205) decomiited from Florida Atlantic in the past couple of weeks and was a huge target for Miami. The Hurricanes are getting a super fast running back with 4.3 speed.
Miami is loading up at the running back position. They have verbal commitments from Jordan Cronkrite, Dexter Williams, and now Jordan Scarlett who are all rated as four-star prospects according to Rivals.com.
