Will Muschamp Is On The Hot Seat

When Will Muschamp took over as the headman at the University of Florida, fans expected the team to keep the trin rolling after Urban Meyer stepped down due to personal reasons.  Still the shadow of Meyer has loomed large over Muschamp, whose team went from preseason number 10 to a 4-8 finish just a season ago.  Over his three seasons with the Gators, Muschamp has gone a combined 22-16 for a program that has a strong history of winning national championships and not finishing below .500 in the SEC.

The hot seat has just begun to warm up for Muschamp, who must improve his 110th ranked offense.  In order to do so, he brought in former Duke University offensive coordinator Kurt Roper.  Roper revamped a horrendous offense at Duke and will be relied upon heavily to do the same with quarterback Jeff Driskel.

There’s no question Florida has the talent to be a top team in the nation and save Muschamp’s job.  But is Muschamp ready to overcome the pressures of the hot seat and lead the Gators to the promise land?
