Arizona head coach Sean Miller is putting the nation on notice with his recruiting lately.
The Wildcats received their third five-star commitment for the 2015 class when Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nevada) small forward Allonzo Trier pledged to join the Wildcats.
According to Rivals.com, Arizona has three of the top twenty three overall players in the nation. Joining Tier are Las Vegas high school forward Ray Smith (ranked No. 10) and Temecula Valley (Temucula, California) shooting guard Justin Simon (ranked No. 23).
Trier spoke to Rivals.com about his decision.
“I am on an official here right now,” Trier told Rivals.com. “Coach Miller and Coach Pasternack have recruited me so ridiculously hard and have really made me a priority since they decided to recruit me.
“They did an incredible job of building a bond and making me an my family feel like we were important to them and Arizona.”
Simon and Smith both did their part to help Trier decide to come to Arizona.
“Justin Simon has been on me so bad ever since Arizona started recruiting me and he’s very excited now. Ray Smith has been talking to me about getting me and both guys were already on and really supporting me now that I’ve made this decision they are both stoked.”
