Washington quarterback Cyler Miles will make his 2014 debut this Saturday against Eastern Washington after serving a one game suspension. Head coach Chris Peterson suspended the sophomore after he was involved in a altercation on the Washington campus after the Super Bowl.
The Huskies barely beat an inferior Hawaii team 17-16 without their starting quarterback. Sophomore Jeff Lindquist started in place of Miles and went 10-for-26 with 162 yards and one touchdown in the Huskies win.
Last season Miles appeared in eight games and started one after taking over for the injured Keith Price. He was 37-for-61 with 418 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions.
The Huskies will face off against the Eastern Washington Eagles on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET.
