Florida Gators head coach Will Muschamp officially announced that the suspensions of starting defensive tackle Darious Cummings, wide receiver Demarcus Robinson and defensive tackle Jaynard Bostwick have been lifted and the group of players will all play this Saturday against Eastern Michigan.
Just three hours before kickoff against Idaho, Muschamp informed the press that Bostwick and Cummings had both been suspended for violations of team rules while Robinson on the other hand was punished for breaking a university policy. The three players will provide the program with added depth heading into their week two matchup with Eastern Michigan, always a comfort for a team that couldn’t shake the injury bug last season.
The game was only seconds in before it was delayed then postponed due to unrelenting thunderstorms. The two teams have not decided whether or not the game will be rescheduled, but both have an open date on October 25 that could work. Still, Florida may be hesitant to reschedule because it’s a key week leading up to a huge matchup with SEC rival Georgia.
