Alabama will be without two starters for their upcoming game against Florida Atlantic.
Head coach Nick Saban relayed the news that defensive back Jarrick Williams will miss four weeks due to a fractured foot and wide receiver DeAndrew White will miss two weeks with an injured shoulder.
Saban also stated that both quarterback Blake Sims and Jacob Coker will see action against the Owls.
Sims got the nod over Coker in the Tide’s 33-23 win over West Virginia. He completed 24-of-33 passes for 250 yards and threw one interception.
The Crimson Tide have a stable of capable wide receivers to make up for White’s absence. Jacksonville native Chris Black will likely see exstensive playing time
As for Williams, finding a replacement for him will likely be more important as the Tide’s secondary struggled immensely against West Virginia.
Saban stated that Geno Smith and Maurice Smith are the frontrunners to start against FAU in place of Williams.
