UCF head coach George O’Leary announced earlier today that sophomore quarterback Justin Holman will be the starting quarterback when the Knights play Missouri next week.
Holman relieved Pete DiNovo and was impressive. He completed 9-of-14 passes for 204 yards and had three total touchdowns, one passing and two rushing.
The sophomore led the comeback against Penn State and scored the go-ahead touchdown with 1:13 left in the game. However, the Nittany Lions went on to kick the game winning field goal as time expired, sending UCF home from Dublin empty handed.
The Knights are off this week, preparing for their tough road game against Missouri next Saturday.
