Michigan RB Ty Isaac Denied Appeal

Michigan running back Ty Isaac (shown above playing for USC) was denied his appeal to play this season by the NCAA. He will be eligible to play for the Wolverines next season.

Isaac left the University of Southern California and transferred to Michigan this past summer and was hoping the NCAA would grant him the opportunity to skip the one-year waiting period that is protocol for transfers.

The sophomore has been working with the scout team and head coach Brady Hoke likes what he sees.

“He’s handled it great,” Hoke stated. “He had a great day yesterday. From an attitude standpoint and everything else, he’s been awesome.”

At USC, Isaac rushed for 236 yards and two touchdowns during his freshman season. He will have three years of eligibility remaining at Michigan.
