Two members of the Indiana men’s basketball team announced that they have entered a pretrial diversion program, the result of April 25 arrests for underage consumption of alcohol and ownership of false identifications. Kevin “Yogi” Ferrell and Stanford Robinson both agreed to enter the pretrial diversion program and aim to complete the necessary 10 hours of community service in order to dismiss the charges.
Ferrell was the team’s leading scorer a season ago averaging 17.8 points per game to go along with his 3.9 assists. The junior guard expects to be an even more integral part of the Hoosiers offense as they hope to replace some of their top scorers and improve upon their 17-15 record. Robinson was also a big contributor pouring in 6.4 points per contest to go along with nine starts. Still, the sophomore hopes to play a bigger role in 2014-15.
