While the college football season continues to churn on, the number of top high school basketball players committing to schools has also risen. This past weekend saw three different recruits decide on their future, led by Rivals Top 150 prospect Nate Grimes.
The 6-foot-8 small forward chose Fresno State over Boise State, Iowa, San Francisco, Utah State, Washington State and Wichita State, making him the Bulldogs’ first commitment in the class of 2015.
Tyrone Taylor, a three star recruit, is spending this upcoming year at the post-graduate school Hargrave Military Academy before spending his college years with the Wichita State Shockers. Head coach Gregg Marshall now has two elite prospects set to join the program and is also a finalist for Markis McDuffie.
In arguably the biggest news of the weekend, point guard Rod Hall picked the Clemson Tigers above Houston, Kansas State, Ole Miss and UAB. The Tigers were in dire need of a youth influx and Hall fits the bill perfectly.
Expect more recruits to wrap up their college search as the high school season quickly approaches. Remember to tune in to CollegeSports.net for all your breaking college news.
