Davis Webb Listed As Day-To-Day For Texas Tech

Texas Tech quarterback Davis Webb has been listed as day-to-day just a few days before the team squares of with Kansas State.  Head coach Kliff Kingsbury updated Webb’s injury status on Monday during a Big 12 conference call.  The left shoulder injury occurred during last Thursday’s loss at Oklahoma State and Webb has not been ruled out for this weekend’s game.

Webb severely struggled against Oklahoma State, a game in which he saw constant pressure on top of throwing two interceptions and a fumble.  According to The Dallas Morning News, when asked about Webb’s shoulder, Kingsbury had his safety in mind.

“Just make sure he can protect himself, really, and operate at a level we need him to operate,” Kingsbury said.

The Red Raiders hold a 2-2 record dropping their last two contests against Arkansas and Oklahoma State respectively.  Webb needs to be at full strength if Texas Tech hopes to compete with the no. 23 Kansas State.
