In this week’s AP Poll, the SEC West has four teams ranked in the Top-5. They became the first conference in AP Poll history to have four teams appear in the Top-5. The four teams just so happen to be bitter rivals, which makes the last week of the season between the Egg Bowl and Iron Bowl especially exciting.
No. 1 Mississippi State and No. 3 Ole Miss stayed in their respective places.
Alabama moved up to No. 4 after their 59-0 victory over Texas A&M.
Baylor fell from No. 4 to No. 12 after being upset by West Virginia.
After losing a close game to No. 2 Florida State, Notre Dame only fell two spots from No. 5 to No. 7.
UCLA, LSU, and West Virginia have jumped back in the Top-25.
Oklahoma State, Stanford, and Texas A&M have dropped out of the Top-25.
