The highly-anticipated College Football Playoff semifinal games between Ohio State and Alabama, along with Oregon and Florida State are officially in the books. Even though the Crimson Tide and Seminoles have gone home upset that their respective seasons finished earlier than anticipated, there is still plenty of business to be handled come January 12.
A CFB Playoff final between the Buckeyes and Ducks is sure to be an entertaining game, but we must find other ways to keep ourselves busy with nearly a two-week break between games. What better way to kill time than to make a decision on which team has the better cheerleaders? Our friends at COED thankfully have us covered.
Like they have all season long, COED has compiled comprehensive galleries of each team’s cheer squad so we can make an informed decision on who we prefer before officially casting our ballot in the poll provided. It’s a tough decision to make, but Oregon currently has a commanding lead with a week to go before the big game kicks off in Arlington, Texas.
As for the game itself, this will be a fun one to watch, especially with both squads coming off convincing victories. The Ducks beat Florida State and quarterback Jameis Winston by a 59-20 score, while the Buckeyes held off the top-ranked Crimson Tide by defeating them 42-35. Head coach Urban Meyer continues rolling with Cardale Jones, who started the year as the team’s third-string QB, while Oregon rests its hopes on Heisman winner Marcus Mariota.
It’ll take a while before finding out who’ll head back to campus with the championship trophy in hand, but do us all a favor and settle the cheerleader debate before kickoff by casting your vote over at COED.
