College Football 2014: The 5 Most Overplayed Songs

Every year, college football stadiums play a popular song way too much. You hear it on the loudspeakers so much each Saturday that no fan in attendance can listen to it after the season is over without cringing. The 2014 college football season has been no different, with its fair share of songs getting too much time in the spotlight.

There were quite a few songs to choose from, but these five were definitely the most overplayed in college football stadiums during 2014.

5. “Centuries” by Fall Out Boy

With how often this song was played during the season, the whole world definitely knows their name.

4. “Jump Around” by House of Pain

It exhausting to continually pack it up and pack it in, especially when John McEnroe is never around.

3. “Sandstorm” by Darude

This speaks for itself.

2. “We Dem Boyz” by Wiz Khalifa

We get it, Wiz. Your with your boys and you like making noise. Anything else?

1. “Turn Down For What” by Lil Jon

Or, if you’re a University of Tennessee, this song is “Third Down For What.” Not going to lie, hearing this get blasted over the speakers the first thousand times was fun, but with only one real line in the entire song, it gets pretty old.

Do you agree with these selections? Which songs do you think should be on here that were left off? Let us know what you think!
