The Auburn Tigers terrific National Signing Day continues as four-star linebacker Jeffery Holland and wide receiver Ryan Davis both signed their letters of intent to join the program. Holland is among the top inside linebackers within the recruiting class and decided to leave his home state of Florida to play for the Tigers.
The Jacksonville Trinity Christian product chose Auburn over Florida, Ole Miss, and UCLA. Holland cited his uncle playing for Auburn as a major reason for picking the Tigers on top of the recent addition of Will Muschamp as the team’s defensive coordinator.
On the other side of the football, Davis had visited several schools including Florida and Alabama before selecting Auburn. Florida appeared to be the front-runner for much of the recruiting campaign, but head coach Gus Malzahn swooped in at the last second to steal one of the top wide-outs remaining in the recruiting class. The Tigers have stolen the show so far during the early goings of National Signing Day, but with many more commitments yet to come, plenty of things could change.
