OT Isaiah Prince Picks OSU over MD, Bama

Offensive tackle Isaiah Prince officially signed with the Ohio State University today. The Greenbelt, Maryland native had originally committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide, but ultimately decided to reevaluate his choice allowing his hometown Maryland Terrapins and the Buckeyes back into the discussion.

The Eleanor Roosevelt product will be another major boost to the National Champion’s recruiting class, a group that already includes five offensive linemen.

Prince, however, possesses excellent athleticism and a large frame, but must continue to add weight if he hopes to protect the blind side. The four-star recruit sits just outside most recruiting website’s top 100 and is widely considered the top player from the state of Maryland.

Coach Urban Meyer and his staff will learn plenty about Prince when training camp opens as the top offensive linemen typically go rather untested throughout high school and will face some of the best defensive ends in college football at Ohio State.
