The Final Four kicks off this weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana. In one of the national semifinals at Lucas Oil Stadium, the No. 1 overall seed Kentucky Wildcats will attempt to keep their unbeaten record intact when they face off against the No. 1 seed Wisconsin Badgers.
In the second of two Final Four games, the No. 1 seed Duke Blue Devils will take on the No. 7 seed Michigan State Spartans.
The four programs in the Final Four are loaded with talent and are led by some of the top coaches in college basketball, but how did the teams come to add so much talent to their roster?
With good coaching comes good recruiting, so it comes as no surprise to see the last four teams standing with players from all over the nation.
Thanks to a map that surfaced on Reddit, we can see exactly where Kentucky, Duke, Michigan State and Wisconsin’s players call their home.
Predictably, the Duke Blue Devils had the most success recruiting up and down the East Coast, while a majority of the players from Wisconsin and Michigan State call the Midwest home.
With so many players coming from the Midwest, it will be a great opportunity for the players to win a national title close to home.
