The Alabama Crimson Tide running back depth took a blow on Friday, when freshman running back Bo Scarbrough went down with a knee injury during a scrimmage.
Alabama head coach Nick Saban confirmed that Scarbrough was injured during the session, but he refused to comment on the severity of the injury.
“You’ve got to take MRIs and do all those things, so I don’t speculate on these kind of injuries,” Saban told AL.com Friday. “We’ll see, and we’ll let you know when we find out.”
Scarbrough is a talented runner who was expected to provide depth behind Derrick Henry, but there is no word on his immediate status.
Ideally, the Crimson Tide will see Scarbrough return to the lineup sooner rather than later.
