The Purdue Boilermakers are the latest team to unveil their new look for the upcoming football season.
While Purdue did not completely overhaul their look or alter their home or away uniforms, they have added a new alternate uniform that they will wear at some point in 2015.
Rather than going with the school’s traditional black and gold color scheme, the alternate uni is all gray — a color the Purdue Boilermakers are dubbing anthracite gray.
The only black and gold on the new uniform is the helmet stripe.
Purdue unveiled the alternate uniforms on the football team’s Twitter account early Saturday morning.

Hey, at least these aren’t frog-skin inspired uniforms, right?
The Purdue Boilermakers kick off their 2015 football season on Sept. 6 when they travel to take on the Marshall Thundering Herd. Purdue begins conference play on Oct. 3 against Michigan State.
