Boise State RB Jay Ajayi’s knee is big concern for NFL teams

Former Boise State Broncos standout Jay Ajayi was one of the running backs who fell in the second-tier of ball carriers available in the 2015 NFL Draft class.

Unfortunately, his stock could be taking a hit as the draft draws nearer.

According to a report from Dane Brugler of CBS Sports, there are growing concerns from teams around the league on the status of Jay Ajayi’s knee — which he was forced to get medically re-checked in Indianapolis.

The medical re-check actually may have done Ajayi more good than harm.

The 2015 NFL Draft will be held from Thursday, April 30 through Saturday, May 2 at Auditorium Theater in Chicago, Illinois.

Prior to the concerns about his knee, there was a belief that the running back could hear his name called in the second round of the draft. We will have to wait and see just how much the news could hurt Ajayi’s draft stock.
