Thon Maker Hints His List May be Down to Kentucky, Indiana

Social media has quickly become the chosen outlet for top high school prospects to choose or even whittle down their final choices.  Thon Maker, a seven-foot center out of Canada by way of the United States, Australia, Uganda and South Sudan, had listed Kentucky, Indiana, Kansas, and Arizona State as his final choices. However, earlier today he hinted that list could be cut in half very soon.

On his Facebook page, Maker included the picture below, that for some reason included an IU football jersey, but nonetheless appears that he has knocked Kansas and Arizona State off his list.

Maker, who you can see would provide any team with a great inside and rim-protecting presence, may only attend his school of choice for one semester next season. As good as he is, it can’t be great for team chemsitery to have a guy come in January and only play through March, not to mention the fact it would be a joke to try and see the NCAA pass him off as a “student-athlete.”

Either way, it appears, unless he just likes to mess with everyone, he will either be a Hoosier or Wildcat next season.

Let the speculating begin!
