Kevin Ollie does not want to be a distraction for his team. According to the latest report, the Connecticut Huskies head coach is set to remain with the team rather than making the jump to the NBA to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The news comes from Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

Conflicting reports surfaced regarding Ollie in the past 24 hours, with Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports saying Ollie had interest in the Thunder’s head coaching vacancy.
However, Ollie issued a statement saying he was not looking for another job.
“As I have said many times, I am proud and honored to be the head basketball coach at the University of Connecticut and I have no plans to pursue other opportunities,” Ollie said in a statement.
“We are already excited about next season and I am looking forward to preparing our team to be the best we can be on the court, in the classroom, and in our community.”
The latest news shows he is a man of his word and that will go a long way with his players.
