Ohio State spring game losers had to do yard work (Photos)

The Ohio State Buckeyes annual spring game had greater implications than anyone could have imagined.

For the losing Scarlet team — which included stars like quarterback J.T. Barrett, running back Ezekiel Elliott and defensive end Joey Bosa — the loss meant that they would have to do some yard work at Buckeye Grove.

Specifically, the players on the losing side would have to lay mulch at the iconic tree garden.

And it was a whole lot of mulch.
