Clearly, the 6-foot-7 prospect created a home for himself at UA despite only playing for one season.
The Fullerton, California native was a figurehead for the Wildcats season, helping them to a Pac-12 title and an NCAA Tournament run that ended with a hard-fought heart-stopping rematch tilt with the Wisconsin Badgers in the Elite Eight. He averaged 13.8 points a game and was the second-leading rebounder at 6.5.
Johnson joins fellow Wildcats Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Brandon Ashley in declaring for this year’s draft.
