Arizona State has not been afraid to publicize their need for a Wide Receiver, and late Monday night, it paid off.
Devin Lucien, a Graduate Transfer who will be eligible immediately, will play his final season of eligibility in Tempe.
Lucien, who is known to have a close friendship with Arizona State QB Mike Bercovici, joins a WR group dealing with the loss of do-it-all WR jaelen Strong, who is expected to be a first round pick in this upcoming week’s NFL Draft, as well as WR Cameron Smith, who is out for the season with a knee injury.
Lucien statistically had been underwhelming while at UCLA, but that is more of a statement about the depth UCLA had at WR during his time there (Lucien was a 4-Star recruit coming out of HS)
Look for Lucien to nearly match his career total numbers ( 58 Catches, 752 Yards, and 4 TD) in his first and last season at Arizona State.
