Report: La’el Collins ‘likely’ to get drafted Saturday

Finally, there is some good news for former LSU Tigers offensive tackle La’el Collins.

Collins entered draft week as a projected first-round pick, before police asked to question him relating to the murder of his ex-girlfriend and her child.

Since the news broke, Collins’ stock plummeted despite not being a suspect at this time and he is still on the board entering the final day of the 2015 NFL Draft.

It is an unfortunate situation for Collins, who is losing millions of dollars, but it appears that his draft nightmare could finally end.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, it is “likely” that La’el Collins will be drafted at some point between rounds four and seven.

Day 3 of the 2015 NFL Draft is currently underway in Chicago, so we will find out in a matter of hours whether Collins gets selected.
