Report: Golson blocked from 2015 Notre Dame opponents

-

According to recent reports, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will block quarterback Everett Golson from transferring to any of the opponents on their schedule for the upcoming season.

Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports was the first to report the news.

Boston College, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Navy, Pittsburgh, Stanford, Temple, UMass, USC, Virginia and Wake Forest are all on the Notre Dame schedule this year, but none of the teams have been rumored as a potential landing spot for the signal-caller.

The same cannot be said for the Texas Longhorns, however, who will no no longer be in play for Golson.

Feldman also states there will be restrictions from some Big Ten schools, though no specific teams were mentioned in the report.
