Cam White’s reported transfer to Rutgers isn’t happening

Looks as though the talk of Cam White transfering to Rutgers is nothing more than the Twitter version of hot air–all tweet with nothing behind it.

A source told NJ.com that there is nothing behind the TCU wide receiver’s commentary on social media that he would be transfering for his final year of eligibility. As NJ.com points out, Rutgers already has a set receiving corpse with senior experience on it.

White’s tweets on the matter stem back as early as February. He has also since tweeted that he will be transfering to Grambling State. Perhaps we should wait for information outside of the Twit-osphere before drawing any more conclusions as to where the De Soto, Texas native will play next fall.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound White caught 45 passes for 546 yards and two touchdowns in three seasons at TCU. He sat out last season due to reported concussions that he had suffered “in the past.”
