Oregon lands NJCAA POY Chris Boucher

Good news for Oregon to kick off the weekend. Via an announcment from Jucorecruiting.com, the Ducks have landed a commitment from 2014-2015 NJCAA D1 Player of the Year Chris Boucher. The announcment came on Friday night.

The Powell, Wyoming native joins a hefty recruiting class that is proimising to bolster UO in the Pac-12 race next season. He joins five-star shooting guard Tyler Dorsey, four-star point guard Kendall Small, four-star forward Trevor Manual and Villanova graduate transfer Dylan Ennis.

Boucher averaged 22.5 points, 11.8 rebounds and 4.7 blocks per game for Northwest College in Wyoming last season. He also shot 58-percent from the field and 440percent from 3-point range. In addition to the Player of the Year honors, the 6-foot-10 product was also  first-team All-American.
