Texas Longhorns could play in Mexico City before 2020

The Texas Longhorns could be playing a game South of the border sooner rather than later.

Texas athletic director Steve Patterson has been wanting to play a game in Mexico for the last few years, but now he says that could happen within the next four to five seasons.

If the game is to take place, Texas is expected to play a non-conference game against a Pac 12 team.

It would be great for Texas to continue increasing their global footprint, but fans of the Longhorns may not appreciate a game being taken away from Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium.
