One word when you think of Drew Richmond: starter.
Richmond received offers from just about every school in the south and northwest, but three months ago Richmond, who is ranked the number three offensive tackle and number fifty-five overall prospect in 247 Sports’s composite rankings, ended up landing with the Tennessee Volunteers.
Richmond, 6-foot-5, 305 pounds, is determined to weight 335 pounds before he arrives for camp.
Richmond is determined to start, saying, “ I just feel like my talent and the way I work, I feel like I can start at one of the tackle spots.”
Richmond is expected to be a starter and I believe he will be. He made a statement to his new teammates saying he did not want to offend them by saying he should be in the starting line as a freshman.
One of the great things that Richmond has is determination. He has very high expectations for himself in the upcoming season and you should expect to see great things from him.
