On Saturday night, the Ultimate Fighting Championship will be invading the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for a championship double-header.
In the main event, Daniel Cormier meets Anthony Johnson for the vacant light heavyweight title.
The light heavyweight title was vacated following Jon Jones’ arrest for his involvement in a hit-and-run accident that injured a pregnant woman. Now, Cormier and Johnson have the opportunity to become the 205-pound king.
In the co-main event, middleweight champion Chris Weidman defends his title against Vitor Belfort.
There is bad blood between the two men, so it will be interesting to see who can keep their emotions in check upon entering the cage.
UFC 187 kicks off on UFC Fight Pass for the early prelims at 6:30 p.m. ET before switiching over to FOX Sports 1 at 8 p.m. for the remainder of the preliminary card.
The pay-per-view portion of the event starts at 10 p.m. ET.
